Hi, I’m Pau!
I’m a Chilean graphic designer, illustrator, author and, most importantly for this little corner of Lupestri, a mum of two girls.
I’ve been living in the Netherlands for several years, and my life here is a mix of Chilean and Dutch culture; something that has naturally found its way into my work and into the stories I create.
I’ve been working as a graphic designer and illustrator for more than ten years, creating books, illustrations, posters, logos, layouts and many other visual projects. I’ve also always enjoyed teaching and sharing creative ideas, and over the years I’ve had the chance to work with children through different classes and workshops.
And honestly, I love it.
There’s something very special about creating with children. They are curious, spontaneous and not afraid to try things just to see what happens. I love giving them a space where they can get messy, experiment, make something with their own hands and, most importantly, have fun.
I’ve recently started creating more workshops through Lupestri, combining my love for illustration, crafts and storytelling with my experience working with children.
I’m also the author and illustrator of two children’s books: Noah, un niño, dos países y mil aventuras and Lupe e Isa van a Chile, a bilingual book inspired by my two daughters and their life between Chile and the Netherlands.
Lupestri is a little bit of everything I love: drawing, making things, telling stories, working with children and bringing people and cultures together through creativity.
So if your child comes to one of my workshops, you can expect lots of creativity, a little bit of mess, plenty of imagination, and hopefully a very happy child going home with something they made themselves.
